Biosketch
Wei Ding is now working as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at UMass-Boston. Wei had been a lecturer in the program of Computer Science and Computer Information Systems at the School of Science and Computer Engineering during 2002 and 2008. Her current teaching and research interests are Spatial Data Mining, Machine Learning, Web Applications, Database and E-Commerce Development. 

Wei received her BS degree in Computer Science from Xi'an Jiao Tong University in 1993 and MS degree in Software Engineering from George Mason University in 2000. The title of her Master thesis is "Using model checking to generate test cases for critical systems".

From 1993 to 2001, Wei had worked as a software engineer in the Bank of China, a testing engineer in Microsoft (China) Ltd., a system analyst and project manager in PanSky International Holding Co. Ltd , a quality assurance team leader in MultiCity.com, and a technical consultant and software engineer in VeriSign Inc.
